From Fanuel Street Park, continue by following the sidewalk to Maruta Gardner Playground at Bonita Cove. There are restrooms there as well, making it another family-friendly stopping point.

Built-in options for different ages

One of the best things about this outing is how flexible it is. Families with younger children can walk to Fanuel Street Park and back for a shorter version. Families with stroller-age kids or older kids on bikes can continue on to Bonita Cove for a longer outing.

Bonus option: Once you reach Maruta Gardner Playground, Belmont Park can be added to the outing by simply crossing the road to the west. The beach is also right there, which makes this route especially fun if you want to turn it into a bigger family day.

Parent-friendly details

Both Fanuel Street Park and Maruta Gardner Playground give parents places to sit and relax while kids play. At Maruta Gardner Playground, there is also a grassy area overlooking Bonita Cove that makes this stop feel especially open and enjoyable.
